Updated over 8 months ago

Click Guardian gives you powerful insight into the traffic arriving at your site from paid sources like Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. This dedicated view lets you drill into each visit, understand where it came from, and export the data if needed.

What You’ll See on the Traffic Table

This table provides a detailed log of recent traffic from paid click sources. It’s designed to help you track the performance and legitimacy of each visit at a glance.

Each row in the table contains the following:

Timestamp

The exact date and time the visit occurred.

IP Address

The IP address of the visitor.

Country

A country flag indicating where the visitor is located.

Initial Page

The first page the visitor landed on when they arrived at your site.

Visit Details (Icon-Based)

A series of icons that tell you more about the visitor. Here’s what each icon represents:

  • Red Exclamation Mark – The visit triggered an IP exclusion by the system.

  • Padlock – The visit came over a secure HTTPS connection.

  • Pound Symbol (£) – This was a paid click.

  • Google / Bing Logo – Indicates the click source (Google or Microsoft Bing).

  • Fingerprint Icon – A fingerprint ID was successfully captured.

  • Phone or Desktop Icon – The device type used by the visitor.

  • iOS or Windows Logo – The device’s operating system.

  • Browser Icon – The browser used to visit your site.

You can click the ➕ icon to the left of the timestamp to reveal a modal popup with more detailed information about that specific visit.

Filtering by Timeframe

To narrow down your view, use the dropdown menu above the table to select a timeframe. The available filters are:

  • Today

  • Yesterday

  • Last 7 Days

  • Last 30 Days

  • This Month

  • Last Month

  • Custom Range – Choose specific start and end dates.

Once selected, the table will refresh to display visits that occurred within the chosen timeframe.

Exporting the Data

Need to save or share the data? Just click the “Export” button to download the full table as a .csv file. This is ideal for deeper analysis or for sharing with your wider team.
